The total Iqama Renewal Fee in 2023 with insurance and all other costs is SR 10,750.

Iqama Renewal Fee 2023
Here are the details of the quarterly iqama renewal fee in Saudi Arabia;
- Iqama Renewal Fee for 3 months: SR 163.
- Iqama Renewal Fee for 6 months: SR 325.
- Iqama Renewal Fee for 9 months: SR 488.
- Iqama Renewal Fee for 12 months: SR 650.
SNB or Al Ahli Bank
In order to pay the Iqama renewal fee online using SNBbank; SNB or Al Ahli Bank;
- Download the Application through PlayStore or iTunes.
- Log in to your internet banking account.
- Click on “Menu“
- Select “SADAD“.
- Click on “Government Payments“.
- Biller: Alien Control.
- Service: Renew Iqama.
- Beneficiary: Unregistered.
- Iqama ID: Iqama Number.
- Iqama Duration: 3, 6, 9, or 12 months
If the name of the expat employee and the amount of the fee is correct, click on the “Proceed” button to pay iqama renewal fees online.
Al Rajhi Bank
In order to pay the iqama renewal fee online using Al Rajhi bank,
- Download the Application through PlayStore or iTunes.
- Log in to your internet banking account.
- Select the “Payments” option.
- Press the “Government Payment” button.
- Click on the “Alien Control“.
- Application Type: Renew Iqama.
On the next screen, you need to enter the following details;
- Transaction Type: Payment.
- Iqama ID: Iqama number.
- Iqama fee Duration: 3, 6, 9, or 12 months.
If the name of the expat employee and the amount of fee is correct, click on the “confirm” button to pay iqama renewal fees online.
Fine for the late renewal of Iqama
If the Iqama is not renewed within 3 days of its expiry, the following penalties are applied. The employer needs to pay the Iqama renewal fee online along with the fine.
- First Time: SR 500 fine.
- Second Time: SR 1,000 fine.
- Third Time: Deportation of expatriates.
Check if iqama renewal fees paid
In order to check if your Iqama renewal fee is properly paid, log in to your Absher account.
- Scroll down until you see “Public Query Available Funds“.
- Enter “Iqama Number“.
- Enter the captcha code.
If you find a deposit of SR 650 under “Passport Deposit“, it means that the Iqama Renewal fee has been paid.
Who pays the Iqama Renewal Fee?
As per Article 40 (1) of the Saudi Labor Law, it is the responsibility of the employer to pay for the iqama renewal fee or Maktab Amal Fee which is required to be paid for the issuance or renewal of Iqama.
