Change name on the birth certificate
In order to change the name on the birth certificate before the issuance of Iqama in Saudi Arabia, follow this procedure;
1 – Contact the hospital where your child was born and fill a form to change the name on the Birth Notification issued by the Ministry of Health.
2 – Once the new notification is received, take an appointment with the Ahwal Madani.
3 – Download the Amend, delete, add, correct form from the MOI website and fill it.
4 – Visit the Ahwal Madani office on the date of the appointment and the officer will change the name on the birth certificate.
5 – Make sure to read the name on the birth certificate, if there is a spelling mistake in it, you can visit the manager’s office immediately to change the name.
