Final Date for Entry into Saudi Arabia for Umrah
Umrah Pilgrims must ensure their arrival in Saudi Arabia by Sunday, 15 Shawwal 1446 AH (13 April 2025). After this date, entry will no longer be permitted for those undertaking Umrah.
Final Date for Entry into KSA for 14 countries
Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended new short-term visas, including business, e-tourist, and family visit visas, for citizens of 14 countries as part of efforts to regulate travel ahead of the Hajj season. Travelers from these countries with valid visas can enter the Kingdom until April 13, 2025.

Regulations for Entering Makkah
Commencing on Wednesday, 25 Shawwal 1446 AH (23 April 2025), access to the holy city of Makkah will be regulated. Only individuals with one of the following will be allowed entry:
- A valid work permit that signifies employment in the region.
- A residency ID (Iqāma) that confirms the individual is working in Makkah.
- People who have a Hajj visa.
Last date to perform Umrah
The Umrah permits will be temporarily suspended from Tuesday, 1 Dhul Qadah 1446 AH (29 April 2025) until 14 Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH (10 June 2025). During this period, access to Umrah services through the “Nusuk” platform will be restricted, affecting all potential pilgrims. However, keep in mind that you cannot enter Makkah after 22 April without a valid permit.
Prohibition on staying in Makkah
As of Tuesday, 1 Dhul Qadah 1446 AH (29 April 2025), individuals holding any type of visa not specifically associated with the Hajj will be banned from entering or staying in Makkah. This measure aims to preserve the spiritual and logistical integrity of the pilgrimage experience for authorized participants.
