Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd, who is the beloved son of late King Fahd extended help to save the life of a young man who was convicted in a murder case.
Just hours before his execution, Prince was able to pay the blood money to save the young man’s life. The blood money was not a small amount, rather it was a whopping SR 1.9 million which has been paid off by Prince Abdul Aziz.
Wesam Al Tarhouni had been imprisoned for 5 years over murder during a fight. Al Tarhouni had already lost his father and brother in a tragic car accident.
His mother had appealed for raising the amount of blood money which was SR 5 million. Her campaign to save the life of her son was able to raise enough money, yet was falling short of SR 1.9 million. Which was then paid by the prince, just hours before the deadline of execution.
Prince Abdul Aziz is known for his kind gestures. In 2021, the prince made headlines by offering Nissan 4×4 to a compatriot who had survived a car crash. The famous car crash in which a renowned YouTuber died.
