There comes an unfortunate time when one hears a bad news, a sorrow filled heartbreaking tragedy occurring in your surroundings related to your close acquaintances, friends or family. Such is the time, The Royal Family of the Saudi Arabia is facing and going through right now.

A news after news, of them which one was the tragic and unfortunate and a very sudden accident of a helicopter claiming the life of Prince Mansour and his companions. On a tour to several locations of the region, the late deputy Governor of Asir, Prince Mansour helicopter met an accident in the Jarf Rida Nature Reserve in Southwest Saudi Arabia’s Sarawat Mountains on Sunday.[irp]

Before this tragic news, we all are aware that 11 Princes were arrested by Anti-Corruption Committee in corruption crackdown on Saturday. The delegates that passed away on Sunday’s Helicopter’s accident were;

ASIR GOVERNMENT UNDERSECRETARY: Suleiman bin Mohammad bin Suleiman AL-Jarish who was appointed on this post on November 24, 2014, died in this accident. He was appointed as the Asir Government Agent in 2013.

He studied BA Islamic Studies from King Abdul Aziz University. He completed his Masters in Criminal Law from Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. Later he joined The Institute of Public Administration for doing Diploma in Public Administration.

Before his work as Asir Government Undersecretary, he worked in the Ministry of Civil Service since 1933, after which he was assigned to work in the ministry of the Interior and then moved to Investigation and Public Prosecution Commission. In 2009 he worked for the Higher Authority of Mecca and Medina as Medina Government Agent.

Municipal Director of Asir Region:  Saleh al-Qadi was the municipal director of Asir. He remained the director of 33 Municipalities of Asir Region. He was appointed to this post on 9 April 2015. He showed his skills serving as the municipal director of Medina.

He completed his Bachelor in Agriculture Engineering from King Faisal University. He had 30 years of experience in management and development.

He stood as the member of the boards of several Government Charitable and Social institutions, including the Asir Region Council, the Asir Tourism Development Council and the Board of the Director of the Saudi Environment Society.

Governor of Mahayel, Asir:  The governor of Mahayel, Asir Mohammad bin Saud bin Abdul Aziz Abu al-Mutahni was appointed on 19 May 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Media and Public Relations from King Abdul Aziz University Jeddah.

It was his contributions that Mahayel Governorates became one of the most famous governorates of the Saudi kingdom. He worked a lot for the development and economic prosperity of Mahayel.

Asir Region’s Director General of Agriculture:  Fahad bin Saeed Al Farish who lost his life in this tragic helicopter’s Crash, started working as Director General of Asir Region from 28 August 2011.

The pilot and other Escorts:  Captain Naif Waslallah Al Rubaie was a native of Taif who worked in several sectors and served at the rank of first lieutenant.

Assistant of Prince Mansour Saud Al Sahli was also the victim of this accident.

Captain Abdullah Al Shehri and Head of Protocol in Asir Region Khalid bin Humaid also died in this Helicopter’s crash.
