Umrah visa to be extended to 3 months

The Ministry of Hajj Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah made a statement in a press conference that soon the Umrah visa would be extendable to 3 months.

He explained that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is working on an initiative where Umrah pilgrims would be able to apply for the Umrah visa themselves without the involvement of an agent.

He further explained that once the initiative is launched, pilgrims would be able to apply for the extension of the Umrah visa for up to 3 months. Moreover, Umrah visa holders would be able to travel to any city in Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, Umrah visa holders were allowed to travel between Makkah and Madina i.e. Makkah, Madina, and Jeddah only.
