A Saudi restaurant in Rafha governate offers free meals to the poor and underprivileged.
The notice on the door says that “If you have no money, don’t be embarrassed and leave yourself and your family without food. Please come in and take what you and your family need”.
This has been written in the local (Arabic) language so that the masses could read it.
According to media reports, Badr Al Shamari, who is the owner of the restaurant, has taken this step for the poor and needy. Those who want food but cannot afford it.
This step has been taken to gain Allah’s happiness. The aim is not marketing and publicity. We should promote this kind of activity as it lay a stone toward a better society.
The restaurant is attaining a good number of customers because of the quality of food and services offered. The attractive location also allows for a high turnout of customers.
