Saudi Crown Prince orders to release 2100 Pakistani prisoners immediately

Consider me an ambassador of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who went to his first tour to any Asian country after becoming the crown prince of Saudi Arabia won the hearts of people when he said, “Consider me an ambassador of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia” to the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

The Saudi Crown Prince made this statement in the response to the request made by Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan to treat around 3000 prisoners in the Saudi Jails with care and make an arrangement to do the immigration of Pakistani Hajj pilgrims in Pakistan.

Immigration of 29000 Hajj Pilgrims at Karachi Airport

The Saudi Crown Prince has also approved that the immigration of 29,000 Hajj pilgrims will be done at the Karachi Airport in the current year. In the coming years, the number will increase and ultimately the immigration of all Pakistani pilgrims will be done at 3 main airports of Pakistan.

Immediate release of 2107 Pakistani prisoners from Saudi Jails

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Fawad Chaudhry has tweeted that as a sequel to Prime Minister of Pakistan request, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of KSA Mohammad Bin Salman has ordered the immediate release of 2107 Pakistani prisoners from Saudi Jails.

It is a great step taken by the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as it will not only promote a positive image of Saudi Arabia in the rest of the world but also strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Who are the Pakistani prisoners to be released?

Although it has not been officially declared the type of prisoners who will be released from the Saudi Jails and detention centers, it is quite easy to guess that those people who have been arrested in petty crimes would be immediately released.

I believe, it is quite fair because releasing murderers and serious criminals without completing their sentences does not make any sense.
