Saudi Arabia closes down all shopping malls

In an aggressive measure to stop spreading coronavirus in the country, Saudi Arabia has closed down all commercial complexes and shopping malls.

All the commercial activities in the shopping malls to be stopped including restaurants and play areas for children, except for the supermarket and pharmacies “if any”.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Health announced a 14 days medical leave to all Saudis and expatriates who have entered Saudi Arabia on or after the 13th March 2020.

Another aggressive measure taken by the Saudi government is to cancel all international flights from Saudi Arabia for a period of 2 weeks.

Moreover, the Saudi government has already banned flights from 50 countries to enter Saudi Arabia until further notice. It means that people from these countries would not be able to enter Saudi Arabia even after the completion of 2 weeks of flight suspension.
