A SADAD account helps you to make an online transaction without using/holding a credit card. We all know that online transactions require a credit card, however, Sadad OLP services allow you to make an online transaction without using a credit card.

The simple method requires you to sign up for the Sadad services, open up an account with Sadad and login to the online banking account. Then you shall transfer your funds to Sadad OLP account. We have explained the entire process to register a SADAD account in Saudi Arabia below;

How to register a SADAD account in Saudi Arabia?

The first thing you need to do to open a SADAD account in Saudi Arabia is to log in to your internet banking account. Yes, the bank account in any commercial bank of Saudi Arabia is the prerequisite of creating a SADAD account in Saudi Arabia.  In this article, we are using the internet banking account of Al Rajhi Bank to create or register a SADAD account. You can use a different bank as well as the procedure is almost the same.

After you log in to your internet banking account, click on the payments tab and select “SADAD” from the drop-down list. A set of options will appear here from where you need to select “SADAD Account”.

In the next step, you need to give an ID to your SADAD Account. SADAD Account Id Alias should be alphanumeric. Only English language characters are permissible. Only ‘1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0’ numbers are acceptable. The length should be 6-12 characters. Not case sensitive.  Only “.”, “_”, “@” special characters are allowed. After entering the ID, you need to agree to the terms and condition to register a SADAD account in Saudi Arabia.

In the next step, a new screen will open which will require you to confirm your SADAD Account ID. If you are comfortable with that, click on the “Proceed” button.

In the next step, you will be required to enter the SADAD account password. You can make payments through your SADAD account without any credit card using your SADAD ID account and the password you are going to enter here. Moreover, at this stage, you need to choose the account number to be associated with this SADAD account.

The password length must be 8-14 characters. Only English language characters are allowed. The Password must be a combination of upper-case letters, lower case letters, and numbers. Special characters are not allowed, and it cannot contain any character more than 3 times in a sequence.  The password must be different from the last used password.  The password and password confirmation have to be the same.

In the next step, your bank system will send you a verification message to confirm that the SADAD account is being created by an authorized person. You need to enter the OTP number here.

If everything goes fine, you will receive a message on your screen that your SADAD Account registration has been successfully completed. If you want to manage your SADAD Account, please access the User Portal.
