In this article, we shall explain how to pay the iqama renewal fee online and at the end how to check iqama renewal fees is paid or not. We are taking an example of the Al Rajhi Bank to pay the fee but the procedure in other banks is also the same.
The first step to pay the Iqama renewal fee is to log in to your internet banking account and click on the payments. In Rajhi Bank, payments tab is available on the top banner as shown in the picture below.
In the drop-down list of payments, select “SADAD”. Now you will be given some more options from where you need to select “MOI Payments”.
In the next step to pay the fee, a new window will be opened where you need to select “Expatriate Services”.
In the next step to pay the fee for Iqama renewal, you will have to select “Payment” as transaction type and “Renew Iqama” in Application Type. After that, you will have to enter the iqama number in the “Iqama ID” tab. It will be Iqama number of the person whose iqama needs to be renewed.
You also need to select the period for which iqama is being renewed, in most of the cases it is 12 months. The Iqama Renewal Fee is SR 650 per family. After this, you will have to select the account number from which you want to make payment. This is the case when you have more than one account in one bank.
Keep in mind that you will have to pay the dependent fee to renew the iqamas of your dependents separately. Their iqama is renewed along with the iqama of the head of the family. So, in this tab, you need to enter the Iqama ID of the head of the family.
In the next step to pay the fee for Iqama renewal, a new screen will appear where all the details of account number from which the payment is made, iqama number and other details will be stated. You need to make sure that all these details are correct.
If any of the detail is incorrect, you should cancel the process and start from step 1. If everything is fine, just click on the “Confirm” button and you are done with the payment of the fee to renew iqama in Saudi Arabia. You will receive a message on your mobile with the details of the transaction.
A Higher amount of Fee

How to check if the iqama renewal fee is paid or not?
In the last step, you need to check if the iqama renewal fee is paid or not. You can check it immediately from the Ministry of Interior website if the payment has been deposited in your MOI Account. The procedure is very simple and it has been explained in this link. “Check Available Funds under Iqama through MOI”.
While checking available funds, if the balance appears as “Zero”, it means that the iqama renewal fee is not yet paid. However, if the balance appears as SR 650 under the passport deposit, it means that the iqama renewal fee has been paid properly.
There is another way to check if the iqama renewal fee is paid or not. If you try to pay the fee again and continue the entire process until the last step before making the payment, the last screen will be showing an unused balance.
If the last screen is showing an unused balance equivalent to the amount you have paid for the iqama renewal, it is a check that the iqama renewal fee has been paid correctly.
