In Islam, seeing a dream where a thief steals money from you, or a theft in your house could have many meanings.

1- According to Ibn Sirin رحمة الله عليه, the most incredible dream interpreter of Islam, stealing and then spending money in a dream means that the person will be caught for his wrongdoings in real life.

2- If you dream of stealing something, it means that you will commit adultery.

3- If you dream of stealing a knife, it may mean you are tempted by one of your children and may mistreat them.

4- Seeing a dream in which you intend to steal but eventually do not steal means that the dreamer will get sick and recover from it.

5- According to Ibrahim Karmani رحمة الله عليه, a 16th-century scholar of Islam, being abducted by a thief in a dream is also an indication of worries and sorrow.

6- According to Prophet Daniyal عليه السلام, seeing theft in a dream is a sign of dishonesty and trust-breaking.

7- According to Imam Jafar Sadiq رحمة الله عليه, an 8th-century scholar of Islam, a jurist, and a theologian, seeing theft in one’s house in a dream is a sign that danger, sorrow, or worries are about to strike the dreamer.

8- If a thief uses perfume in a dream, he will repent.
