In Islam, seeing an unknown old man or woman or finding yourself old in a dream has many meanings and interpretations.

Seeing an old man/woman

Dreaming of a good-looking older man or woman means that you will receive honor and respect. 

As per Islam, if you see an old man or woman and upset him/her in a dream, it means you will upset a close friend or ignore their advice.

If you dream of making an old person happy, you will agree with a close friend. Together, you will gain material and spiritual rewards.

Getting Old in a Dream

According to Ibn Sirin رحمة الله عليه, the most incredible dream interpreter of Islam, if a young man sees that he has grown old with white or grey hair, he will attain respect and status.

Getting Young

According to Jabar Maghrabi رحمة الله عليه if an elderly person sees that he has become young in a dream, it means a decline in his wealth, respect, and status. 

If an older person dreams about being born again, it means he is going to die.

Unknown Old Person

Seeing an unknown, happy old man or woman in a dream means that a dreamer’s friend will make his wishes come true, and he will emerge from his sadness and sorrow as per Islam.

If he dreams about a group of unknown old people, it means he will make good friends.

If you dream of an unknown old man who appears strong, this person represents your inner strength. 

If you dream of an unknown old man or woman who appears weak, this person represents your inner weakness. 

Known Old Person

Seeing a known elderly happy person in a dream means that that old person shall grant him something. 

Seeing a known, unhappy elderly person in a dream means the old person would take something from the dreamer.

If you dream of following an elderly person, it means you are on a good path.
