1- According to Prophet Daniyal عليه السلام, eating a meal in a dream has bad omen while eating something sweet is a good sign.
2- According to Ibn Sirin رحمة الله عليه, the greatest dream interpreter of Islam, eating has different meanings depending upon the taste of the food;
- Tasteless food = sorrow.
- Sour food = sickness.
- Sweet food = wealth.
2- According to Ibrahim Karmani رحمة الله عليه, eating gold or silver in a dream is a sign of loss.
3- Eating all the food available at home is a sign of having a life full of luxuries.
4- Eating too much food in a dream that one cannot even sit up is a sign of death.
5- Seeing a dead person eating food in a dream is not a good sign.
6- According to Jafar Sadiq رحمة الله عليه, giving food to a needy person in a dream is a sign of happiness and getting rid of worries and sorrows.
7- Giving food to a non-believer is a sign that Allah would be helpful in dealing with the non-believers.
