Depending on the situation, seeing a dream where you are getting sick and visiting a doctor to take medicine could have different meanings in Islam.

Doctor in a Dream

1- If a sick person dreams of a doctor examining them, their health is improving.

2- If a doctor appears in a dream and gives a prescription to a healthy person, the person may get sick.

3- According to Ibn Sirin رحمة الله عليه, the greatest dream interpreter of Islam, seeing yourself getting medicine from a doctor has two meanings depending upon the outcome.

• Getting better after taking the medication means that someone would guide the dreamer to the right path of Islam. 
• Getting worse after taking the medication means that someone would lead the dreamer to the path of wrongdoing.

Giving medicine

4- Giving medicine to someone in a dream also has two different meanings in Islam, depending upon the consequences.

• If the medicine is effective, the dreamer will advise people in the right direction, and they will follow him.
• If the medicine is ineffective, the dreamer would advise people towards wrongful acts.

Doctor’s Death

5- Dreaming of a doctor’s death is believed to symbolize the death of one’s mother.

6- If you dream of a doctor selling coffins or folded shrouds, you should be suspicious of him in real life, even if people find him charming.
