KSA doubles re-entry & Iqama fee for outside expats

The Saudi Cabinet has approved a new amendment to double the exit re-entry extension and Iqama renewal fee for those expats who are outside Saudi Arabia. Here are the details;

Single Exit Re-Entry Fee

There is no change in the single exit re-entry issuance fee i.e. around SR 100/month for a single exit re-entry visa.

However, the fee to extend the exit re-entry visa when the expat is already outside Saudi Arabia has been increased to SR 200/month

Multiple Exit Re-Entry Fee

Similarly, there is no change in the single exit re-entry issuance fee i.e. SR 500 for the first 3 months and SR 200 for each additional month.

However, the fee to extend the multiple exit re-entry visa when the expat is already outside Saudi Arabia has been increased to SR 400/month

Iqama Renewal Fee

In the same way, there is no change in the Iqama renewal fee if the expat is in Saudi Arabia at the time of Iqama renewal i.e. SR 650/year.

However, in the case of the Iqama renewal of companions of expats and domestic workers, the fee is increased to SR 1300 if the Iqama is renewed when they are outside Saudi Arabia.

Who are the companions of expats?

The companions of expats are not dependents. They are those people who appear under the sponsoree category in the Absher. Generally, they are the following people under your Iqama.

  • Father/Mother.
  • Sister/Brother.
  • Wife/Husband if traveled together for the first time while coming to Saudi Arabia.
