Most of us find it difficult to kiss Hajr-e-Aswad due to the huge crowd while performing Hajj or Umrah. Therefore, we are coming up with the step by step guide.
Start with Rukn Yamani
Get into the line that starts at the Rukn Yamani. Better select a less crowded time such as one hour after Fajr or Tahajjud time.
Place a Hand on the Holy Kaaba
Place one hand on the Holy Kaaba and the other hand down while you are in the queue to kiss Hajr-e-Aswad. Otherwise, the crowd will drag you away from the Kaaba.
Be patient while the line would move inch by inch. So go with a flow and do not try to change your line nor overtake others.
The best way to keep yourself busy and be patient while you are in the queue to kiss Hajr-e-Aswad is reciting of the Adhkars. When you move forward and start entering the mob, make sure you start to recite the Adhkars loudly. The closer you get, the more impatient and vigilant you become, and in all that you might as well forget the recitation of Adhkars.
Hold the Ring
As you move forward, there will be a force dragging you away from the Holy Kaaba. As your one hand is already with the wall of Holy Kaaba, make sure you find one of the rings that are instilled in the walls of the Kaaba. This way, you will be able to retain your position even if the mob tries to move you away.
When you are inches away from the stone, start reciting duas and ask for patience and forgiveness. Ask Allah to help you and ask Him to forgive you if you have pushed someone unintentionally or so.
This is the most difficult phase as the pressure of people from all sides will clinch you and you might as well feel hyper, impatient, and frenzy.
Once you reach the stone, don’t take long to kiss Hajr-e-Aswad. I know that the feeling is so different and one feels like staying there for a time, but you know that it is a crowded place and people would push you.
Do not take the risk of standing long as a single push can let you fall and face injuries. Kissing the stone is indeed bliss, yet you need to be wise.
