Saudi Police have arrested a woman for walking naked on the streets of Jeddah.

In a video that went viral on social media, the woman can be seen walking absolutely naked on the street crossing the road. A policeman is directing her to wear clothes but it seems she is arguing with the policeman.
The policeman is later seen talking to his seniors about this woman. It is important to note that these kinds of events are very rare in Saudi Arabia as it is a country where women don’t reveal their bodies due to Islamic culture.
Why was she doing it?
The police have taken the woman into custody and handed over the custody of the concerned institution.
The Department of Public Security said in a statement that the woman is mentally ill. Legal action will be taken in this context.
