Islaming Meaning: Saying Salam in a Dream

Seeing a dream where you are saying Salam to someone or another person is greeting you may have different meanings in Islam, as explained below.

1- According to Ibn Sirin رحمة الله عليه, the most incredible dream interpreter of Islam, if a dreamer sees that his friend has blessed him with Salam, then it means that he will attain happiness from that friend.

2- Seeing a dream in which an enemy greets the dreamer with a salam means that he will no longer be his enemy but will instead become his friend.

3- If a stranger has greeted the dreamer with a salam, then it means that he will become friends with a traveler. He will become his well-wisher and a companion.

4- In a dream, if the dreamer sees an unknown old man greeting the dreamer with Salam, it means that the dreamer will be safe from the wrath of the Almighty.

5- Seeing a dream where an old man known to the dreamer is greeting him in the dream with a Salam, the interpretation will be that he is marrying a beautiful woman.

6- According to Ibrahim Karmani رحمة الله عليه, a 16th-century scholar of Islam, if a friend greets the dreamer with a salam, yet he does not reply, then it means that the both will get apart.

7- According to Jabar Maghrabi رحمة الله عليه, if a person sees that a young woman has greeted the dreamer with a salam, then it means that he will have high status in society.

8- If someone ends their Salah by starting the Salam from the left and then moving to the right in a dream, it indicates that they are following a path of innovation or evil.
