Seeing your or someone else’s hands in a dream could have many different meanings and interpretations in Islam, as explained below.
1- According to Prophet Daniyal عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ, seeing the right hand in the dream is interpreted as brother and the left hand in the dream is interpreted as sister.
Size of Hands
2- If one sees that their right hand is getting long, then it means that their brother will get blessed, and their work will be done gracefully.
3- Seeing that both hands are getting long in a dream means that the dreamer shall attain profits from his brothers and sisters.
4- Seeing your hands shrinking in a dream means the dreamer’s siblings will part ways with him.
Hands Cut-Off
5- If the dreamer’s hands are cut off and on the floor in a dream, his brothers and sisters will get away from him in his life.
6- According to Ibn Sirin رحمة الله عليه, the most incredible dream interpreter of Islam, seeing a dream where someone cuts your right-hand means that the dreamer will lose his brother, sister, or son or some other close relative will die.
7- If the dreamer sees that he has cut his hands with a knife, he will fight with someone.
8- If the dreamer sees that he has cut his hand and is committing suicide, then it means that the rich people of that place will become arrogant and proud.
9- If the hand of the dreamer is cut off and the dreamer is not aware of which hand is cut (i.e., left or right), then it means that the dreamer will face sadness.
10- However, if the dreamer’s hand is cut while he is reciting the Quran, then it means that he will stop himself from sinning.
11- A dream where the dreamer sees that his right has been amputated due to sin means that the dreamer shall take a false oath.
12- If the dreamer does not have both hands in the dream, then it means that he does not have faith in his work.
Clapping
13- Seeing yourself clapping with both hands in a crowd means that the dreamer will get married at the same place where he is clapping.
14- Seeing yourself clapping with both hands while sitting alone in a dream means that he shall go through sadness and sorrows.
Washing Hands
15- Seeing yourself washing your hands with water in a dream means he will marry a woman of his choice.
16- If the person washes his hands with soap in the dream, it means that he will be disheartened.
Walking with Hands
17- If a person sees that he is walking like an animal (with his hands and feet) and his face towards the sky, then it means that he wishes for something very difficult and will have trouble attaining it.
Dry Hands
18- Seeing your hands dry in the dream is indicative of being a miser in giving charity.
Talking Hands
19- If the dreamer’s hands and feet are talking to each other in the dream, then he shall live in luxury.
Red Hand
20- According to Ismail Isha’at رحمة الله عليه, if a person sees that his right hand has become red in a dream, then his wealth will decrease and get wasted.
Shaking Hands
21- If a non-believer shakes hands with the dreamer, then that non-believer will become a Muslim through the dreamer’s efforts.
Hands-on Neck
22- Seeing a dream where you are touching your neck with your hands means he will attain a long life!
23- Putting both hands on the chest in the dream indicates that the dreamer will endure pain because of his friends. He will be sad or worried for them.
24- If one sees that he has peeled the skin of one hand in a dream with the help of the other, then it means that he will be cruel towards others.
