Iqama issue date is the date at which your Iqama was issued for the first time and we can easily check it through Absher or MOI account. Most of us tend to forget our iqama issuance date as we focus more on the Iqama expiry date during our stay in Saudi Arabia.
At the time of filling some forms, you might need it. I remember at the time of applying for E-Visa of UAE, they ask for iqama issuance date. Since the issuance date is not available on the face of Iqama, people really don’t know from where to check it.
How to check the Iqama issuance date?
You need to have an Absher or MOI account to check iqama issue date. If you don’t have an Absher account, you will have to register for it. The procedure to get you registered as explained in this link “How to register for Absher?”
Once the account is created, you need to login to your Absher or MOI account by entering your userID or Iqama number, password and the captcha code to check iqama issue date. An SMS will be sent to your mobile number with an authentication code which you need to enter the next screen. https://absher.sa
Once you have successfully logged in to the MOI account, you need to click on your name and picture to check Iqama issue date. A drop-down list will appear from where you need to click on “Dashboard”.
A new screen will open containing many important details related to your account. Now just look at the left side of your screen where your full name is stated along with your picture, you will find your birth date and marital status there. You need to click on the “More Details” link given under this to check iqama issue date.
A new screen will be opened containing details of your iqama number, name, birth date, birth country, marital status, nationality, religion and some other details. You need to check iqama issue date on this page.
As you can see in the attached screenshot, the iqama issuance date is available there. You can see how easy it is to know about the iqama issuance date from your MOI or Absher account.
It is important to mention here that you can check your iqama issue date online using the above-mentioned method. However, the iqama issuance date of dependents is still not available in the system.
The issue date of your dependent’s Iqama is the expiry date minus the number of years they have been living in Saudi Arabia. In this way, you can easily calculate this date for documentation purpose.
