Islamic Meaning: Seeing someone drunk in dream

Seeing yourself or someone else drunk in a dream could be a weird experience that has a special meaning in Islam.

Getting Drunk in a Dream

1- According to Ibn Sirin رحمة الله عليه, the most incredible dream interpreter of Islam, seeing someone drunk in a dream symbolizes his ignorant behavior towards others. 

2- Being drunk in a dream symbolizes unhappiness, stress, depression, worries, arrogance, and misuse of wealth.

3- If someone becomes drunk from alcohol and then tears off their clothes in a dream, it indicates that they have abused their privileges by indulging in vain pleasures.

4- If someone is seen drinking alcohol to the point of drunkenness in a dream, it signifies earning unlawful money.

5- According to Ibrahim Karmani رحمة الله عليه, a 16th-century scholar of Islam, if a pious person is seen drunk, it shows his love for Allah Almighty. When you are intoxicated you speak the truth with all the emotions. Similar is the case of the one who is a true lover of Allah Almighty.

Getting Drunk without Alcohol

6- Pretending to be drunk in a dream signifies making a false claim. This might also indicate that the dreamer could be falsely accused in real life as a lesson. The dream could serve as a reminder to refrain from making untrue claims and to overcome false adversity, similar to being drunk without actually drinking.

7- According to Imam Jafar Sadiq رحمة الله عليه, an 8th-century Muslim scholar, jurist, and theologian, seeing someone drunk in a dream without consuming alcohol represents his childish and immature thinking as per Islam. It can also mean bad and unfavorable things.

Vomiting after Drinking

8- According to Jabar Maghrabi رحمة الله عليه, drinking alcohol, getting drunk, and vomiting in a dream indicate that the dreamer is frugal, spending very little on his children and family and feeling remorseful about his expenditures.  

9- Drinking alcohol without getting drunk, and then vomiting in a dream suggests that the dreamer will receive ill-gotten gains but ultimately make amends.
