How to get a Saudi number plate with logo?

Nowadays, car number plates with five different logos are issued in Saudi Arabia, giving your vehicle a stylish look. Here is the process for applying for one.

5 Logos – Saudi Car Number Plates

Currently, Saudi car number plates are available with five logos;

1. Madain Saleh Logo.
2. Diriyah logo.
3. Emblem of Saudi Arabia – colored.
4. Emblem of Saudi Arabia – black.
5. Saudi Vision 2030 logo.

Make the payment

In order to apply for a car number plate with a Saudi logo, you need to pay SR 800 fee. In order to do that;

• Download SNB Bank mobile application on Play Store or iTunes.
• Log in to your account.
• Select SADAD.
• Click on SADAD Payments and Refunds.
• Biller: Motor Vehicles.
• Service: Re-Issue License Plate.
• Select Unregistered.
• Owner ID: Iqama Number.
• Enter Vehicle Sequence Number. 
• Plate Issuance Reason: Plate with Logo.
• License Plate with Logo: Issue the Vehicle License Plate with Logo.

How to Apply?

In order to apply for a car number plate with a logo;

• Log in to Absher: https://www.absher.sa/
• Click on “Vehicles” tab.
• Select the “Vehicles Management” option.
• Select the car for which you want to change the number plate.
• Click on the “Vehicle Plates Replacement” service.

On the next page,

• Click on “New Request“.
• Select the logo design for the Saudi number plate.
• Accept the terms and conditions.
• Click on the “Next” button.
• Select the postal office from where you can pick up the number plate.
• The number plate will arrive in 5-7 working days.

Collect the new number plate

The postal service will send you an SMS along with a map of the location where your number plate has arrived.

• Remove your current number plates once you are at the courier service office.
• Hand over your old number plates to them, and only then will they issue a new number plate.
• Replace the new number plate on your car.
