How to pay Iqama Renewal fee online?

Procedure for the renewal of Iqama has been eased up. Thanks to the integrated systems launched by the Saudi Government. In this article, we shall explain how to pay the iqama renewal fee online and at the end how to check iqama renewal fees is paid correctly.

We are taking an example of the Al Rajhi Bank to pay the Iqama renewal fee but the procedure in other banks is also the same. 

STEP 1

The first step to pay the Iqama renewal fee is to log in to your internet banking account and click on the payments. In Rajhi Bank, payments tab is available on the top banner as shown in the picture below.

In the drop-down list of payments, select “SADAD”. Now you will be given some more options from where you need to select “MOI Payments”.

STEP 2

In the next step to pay the fee for Iqama renewal, a new window will be opened where you need to select “Expatriate Services”.

In the next step to pay the fee for Iqama renewal, you will have to select “Payment” as transaction type and “Renew Iqama” in Application Type. After that, you will have to enter the iqama number in the “Iqama ID” tab. It will be Iqama number of the person whose iqama needs to be renewed.

You also need to select the period for which iqama is being renewed, in most of the cases it is 12 months. The fee for renewal of Iqama is SR 650 per family. After this, you will have to select the account number from which you want to make payment. This is the case when you have more than one account in one bank.

Fee for Iqama Renewal of Dependents

Keep in mind that you will have to pay the dependent fee to renew the iqamas of your dependents seperately. Their iqama is renewed along with the iqama of the head of the family. So, in this tab, you need to enter the Iqama ID of the head of the family.

STEP 4

In the next step to pay the fee for Iqama renewal, a new screen will appear where all the details of account number from which the payment is made, iqama number and other details will be stated. You need to make sure that all these details are correct.

If any of the detail is incorrect, you should cancel the process and start from step 1. If everything is fine, just click on the “Confirm” button and you are done with the payment of the fee to renew iqama in Saudi Arabia. You will receive a message on your mobile with the details of the transaction.

A Higher amount of Fee for Iqama Renewal

Sometimes it happens that system calculates the fee for the renewal of Iqama as SR 1,150. If it appears like this, you don’t need to do pay it.

How to check if the iqama renewal fee is paid correctly?

In the last step, you need to check if the iqama renewal fee is paid correctly. You can check it immediately from the Ministry of Interior website if the payment has been deposited in your MOI Account.
