Yes, you read it correctly, its food at your front door. No longer do you have to endure a mission to get ready, get in your car, endure traffic and finally reach your preferred restaurant or eatery, only to find that the doors are closed for prayers. With Hellofood however, you can bring the restaurant experience right to the comfort of your living room, with the added advantage of not getting all dressed up and eating in your own comfortable state. Firstly, you have to go to their website to register for the service. Surprisingly it is all free, all you have to do is put in your first name, last name, mobile number (which includes the country code), email address and input a password of your choosing. Unlike all the other services available, they did not ask me for any of my banking information or credit card information or anything else of that sort.
After the registration is complete, you have to select your location right down till your neighborhood. The service will then inform you of all the possible restaurants and cafes which deliver to your area. You can select one or more restaurants and go to the menu which includes some special additions exclusively for this service. Once your order is complete a box will appear which shows all the items you have ordered and your total bill.
Again, unlike any other delivery service, you do not have to pay a cent for the delivery service. Minutes after your order has been finalized and registered online, a representative from the Hellofood service will call you up. They will inquire special instructions which need to be related to the delivery boy, and will normally inform you that you will receive the next call by the delivery boy when the order is dispatched.
After a normal amount of waiting time, your phone will ring and the rider will confirm your location and be at your doorstep after an additional few minutes. Even though it seems like a lot of waiting, it is not. The food comes neatly packed in paper bags, and the food is delivered hot.
Hellofood has just made it extremely easy to get home delivery in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The registration can be completed by a child and you only pay for the food when you are receiving it. Each restaurant is different in relation to the delivery charges, however since the service does not charge anything, and you are in the comfort of your own home, you won’t mind paying a few riyals.
With branches in 5 main cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al Khobar, and Dhahran this new service has gained much popularity. The service also hosts restaurants such as Pizza Hut, Roma Way, Tako Hut, Canton and others on its list of vendors/restaurants. This means that you can get a wide variety of different cuisines under the same roof, and there just couldn’t be anything better.
