With the increased terrorism, all around the world, misuse of mobile phone SIMs has become very common. It is very important to make a SIM card check every now and then through the CITC Saudi sim check to ensure no unauthorized mobile number is registered under your name.

Finally, a CITC SIM check service has been launched in Saudi Arabia by CITC (Communication and Information Technology Center) to know about the landline phone, mobile phone, and internet connections registered under your Iqama.  In other words, the scope of the service is more than merely a SIM card check. 

1.1-First Step of CITC Saudi sim check

The first step of CITC Saudi sim check service is to open the CITC website using this link and enter your Iqama number and a mobile phone number which is under your name.

If you are not comfortable in the Arabic language of the CITC website, you can always navigate through the English version of the CITC SIM check service.

1.2-Second Step of CITC Saudi sim check – Message Confirmation

The first step of CITC Saudi sim check service is to confirm your mobile number by a message. After the first step, a message will be sent to your number by CITC containing a code which you must enter on the next screen.

Once the SMS code is entered on the screen, you will be directed to another page showing all the numbers registered under your name.

1.3-Important Note for CITC Saudi sim check

You will receive an authentication message from the CITC Saudi sim check service if the number you have entered matches with the iqama number you have provided.

Let's say if the number and Iqama number do not match, you cannot avail the CITC SIM check service. In this case, you will have to move to another procedure for the sim card check.

2-SIM Card Check in Saudi Arabia

If CITC SIM check service does not work for you, there is another SIM Card check service being offered by every cellular company to check how many sims on my Iqama. You will have to send a message using your mobile number which is already under your ownership to the following number.

After sending the SMS, you will receive another SMS containing all the numbers registered under the name of the person who is the owner of the SIM from which the message is sent.

2.1-How to check STC number under your Iqama?

In order to check STC number under your Iqama, write “9988” in SMS and send it to 900 or 902 to avail SIM Card check service. In other words, this is STC SIM number check code.

If you are not an STC customer and want to check the phone numbers registered under your Iqama, you can call at +966112907907 and ask about it from customer services representative.

2.2-How to check mobily SIM number under your Iqama?

In order to check mobily SIM number under your Iqama, send a blank SMS 616166 to avail SIM Card check service. In other words, this is Mobily SIM number check code.

If you are not a Mobily customer and want to check the phone numbers registered under your Iqama, you can call at +966560101100 and ask about it from customer services representative.

2.3-How to check Zain number under your Iqama?

In order to check Zain number under your Iqama, send a blank SMS to 700123 to avail SIM Card check service. In other words, this is Zain SIM number check code.

If you are not a Zain customer and want to check the phone numbers registered under your Iqama, you can call at +966590000959 and ask about it from customer services representative.

2.4-How to check Virgin mobile number under your Iqama?

Until today, the only way to check Virgin Mobile is to call their customer service and ask them.

If you find out after the SIM card check that any number is not in your use, you can go to the respective office of the mobile company and get it disconnected.
