Bahrain has updated its red list countries by removing Pakistan, India, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. It means that people from these countries can enter Bahrain.
What is there for Saudi Iqama holders?
Saudi Iqama holders who have taken two doses of the COVID19 vaccine in Saudi Arabia can enter the Kingdom from any part of the world.
Saudi Iqama holders who are not vaccinated from Saudi Arabia cannot enter KSA if they have been to any of the 13 banned countries which include India and Pakistan.
Now those Saudi Iqama holders who are coming either from India or Pakistan can stay 14 days in Bahrain before entering Saudi Arabia.
Can we get an On Arrival Visa?
Saudi Iqama holders with a good Iqama profession (e.g. doctor, engineers, accountants) can get an on-arrival visa at Bahrain Airport.
However, if you are not sure about it, you can always contact an agent to book a visa before arrival.
Entering Saudi Arabia through King Fahd Causeway
Saudi Iqama holders would be allowed to enter the Kingdom through the King Fahd Causeway only if they have taken;
- 2 doses of Pfizer BioNTech or;
- 2 doses of Oxford AstraZeneca or;
- 2 doses of Moderna or;
- 1 dose of Johnsons Janssen.
- 2 doses of Sinopharm + 1 dose of either Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnsons Janssen, or Moderna.
- 2 doses of Sinovac + 1 dose of either Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnsons Janssen, or Moderna.

All the Non-Immune accompanying dependents and domestic workers of an immune Iqama holder can also travel with him through the causeway. However, they will have to complete 7 days of home quarantine with two COVID-19 tests on the 2nd and the 6th day.
If people are barred the entry from King Fahd Causeway, they can take a flight from Bahrain to any city of Saudi Arabia and book their institutional quarantine package through the airline.
