Who is Dajjal?
Dajjal will be having the power to kill and give someone life. He will be blind in one eye. 70,000 Jews will be following him, but he wouldn’t be able to enter Madina.
The return of Prophet Isa
It is part of the Muslim belief that Prophet Isa عليه السلام will return to this earth at the Minaret of Jesus.
Gate of Ludd – Islamic Hadith
There are many Hadith where Bab-e-Ludd has been mentioned.
1- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Isa bin Maryam عليه السلام will kill the Dajjal at the gate of Ludd. – Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2244
2- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Then Isa bin Maryam عليه السلام will descend at the white minaret to the east of Damascus. He will then catch Dajjal up at the Bab-e-Ludd and kill him. – Sunan Abi Dawud 4321
3- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Isa bin Maryam عليه السلام will then search for Dajjal until he will catch hold of him at the gate of Ludd (a village near Jerusalem), and will kill him. – Riyad as-Salihin 1808
Then Isa bin Maryam عليه السلام will set out and catch up with Dajjal at the gate of Ludd, and will kill him. – Sunan Ibn Majah 4075
4- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Dajjal will run away, and Isa bin Maryam عليه السلام will say: “I have only one blow for you, which you will not be able to escape!” He will catch up with him at the eastern Bab-e-Ludd and will kill him. – Sunan Ibn Majah 4077
Where is Bab-e-Ludd?
As it is stated in one of the hadiths the gate is in a village near Jerusalem; it is a common belief that the gate of Ludd is in the city of Lod, approximately 15 km southeast of Tel Aviv.
