Albaik donates 10,000 meals daily in Jeddah

On the 4th of April 2020, the Ministry of Interior took a tough decision to impose a 24-hour curfew in 7 districts of Jeddah to control the spread of coronavirus in the country.

Most of the inhabitants of these areas are labor class or illegal immigrants who have been living in Saudi Arabia for ages without any Iqama or citizenship. It said the gesture is meant to lift the financial burden families are facing under the lockdown. Albaik is the leading chain of restaurants of fried chicken in Saudi Arabia with 40 outlets in Jeddah alone.
