4-Back in the 1970’s the Saudi Airline developed Saudi City. It was a housing complex meant for the employees which spanned across an area of 1.5 million meters sq. At the time, it had been the largest housing complex which had been built by an airline for the staff.
5-If you manage to gather 40,000 miles under the frequent flyer program of Al Fursan, you will receive a return ticket to Europe. 6-Saudi Airline even runs their own charter flight service. The aircraft which had been used for these charter flights is the luxurious Dassault Falcon 7X.
7-The Saudi Air Cargo building that is located at the King Khaled Airport in Riyadh has a total capacity of handling upwards of 140,000 metric tons per year, which makes it one of the largest cargo buildings in the entire Middle Eastern region.
8-The Jeddah department of the Saudi Airlines Catering had on a single day managed to produce 102,500 meals. This incredible achievement was made possible in September of 2015 when meals had been served on an astonishing 299 total flights.
9-Earlier on in the year, the Saudi Airline had announced their plans of launching a new low-cost airline to the general public. The operations of this new lost cost airline will be commencing in 2017 and the subsidiary low-cost airline will be aptly named Flyadeal.
