Table of Contents
There are 8 doors of Jannah as per Islam, and each gate has a name describing the kinds of people who will enter through it to the heavens. Here is the list of these gates;
Gate of Salat – بَابِ الصَّلاَةِ
People who regularly offer their prayers on time and observe their Salah will be allowed to enter Jannah from the gate of Salat.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: said: Whoever is among the people of Salat, he will be called from the gate of Salat. – Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3674
Door of Al Jihad – بَابِ الْجِهَادِ
Those who involved themselves in Jihad and died in the protection of Islam would get to enter Jannah through the door of Jihad.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: said: Whoever was among the people of Jihad, he will be called from the gate of Jihad. – Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3674
Gate of Sadaqah – بَابِ الصَّدَقَةِ
People who regularly give charity will be allowed to enter the heavens through the gate of Sadaqah.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: said: Whoever was among the people of charity, then he will be called from the gate of Sadaqah – Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3674
Gate of Rayyan – بَابِ الرَّيَّانِ
People who regularly fast (during Ramadan especially) will enter Jannah from the gate of Rayyan.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Jannah has eight gates, and one of them is called Ar-Raiyan through which none will enter but those who observe fasting.” – Sahih al-Bukhari 3257
Gate of Forgiving People – باب الكاظمين الغيظ والعافين عن الناس
Those who control their anger and forgive others, although they have the power to oppress them, will be granted to enter Jannah through Bab-al-Kazimeen which is dedicated to them.
Door of Al-Hajj – باب الحج
People who perform the Hajj pilgrimage 🕋 to Makkah will be allowed to enter the heavens through the door of Al-Hajj.
Gate Al Imaan: باب الأيمان
People who have a genuine belief in Allah with solid assurance and trust and obey the commands and follow the instructions of Allah would enter Jannah through this door, which is reserved for this sole purpose.
Gate Al Zikr – باب ذكر
Those who do zikr of Allah from the heart and always keep him in their thoughts will be admitted to the heaven through the gate Al-Zikr.
