4 ways to bring Barakah to your business

I asked how can we bring Barakah to a business? My Grandfather smiled at me and said, remember these four rules of Barakat.

1. Greet your customers with a smile

Smiling is Sunnah and greeting our guests with السلام عليكم is mandatory for us. When you follow the sunnah and do what Allah has asked of you, Allah will be happy. Moreover, your customer will get attracted to you!

2. Be thankful for what you have

You need to thank Allah for what he has already blessed you with. For this very purpose recite ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ several times. Allah gets happy when we are thankful for all his blessings.

Allah ﷻ states in Quran: If you are grateful, I will certainly give you more. But if you are ungrateful, surely My punishment is severe. – Surah Ibrahim 14:7

3. Darood to Prophet Muhammad

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the beloved of Allah. When we perform sunnah and send salutations to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Allah gets happy with us and blesses us with more. You can recite the following verses;

• ٱللَّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ ٱللَّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

4. Make Dua for others

Allah loves when a person asks from Allah. Not only make dua for your own business but also for the business of others.

This late line just surprised me, and I uttered that why shall we make dua for other people’s business? On this, my grandfather said that when we make dua for someone, Angels say Ameen to it and then they make a dua for us. So, in this way, we will get more.
