Suadi police have arrested 4 expats for wrapping garbage in the Saudi National Flag where لآ اِلَهَ اِلّا اللّهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوُل اللّهِ is written. This is a sheer insult not only to the Saudi National flag but to Islam as well.
The penalty for insulting the flag can reach up to 1 year of imprisonment and a fine of SR 3,000.
The video went viral on social media where an expat is taking the garbage out from the Saudi National flag and later kissing, hugging and folding the flag.
The issue is that in order to make this video, the four expats wrapped the old objects and garbage in it which was insulting to the National flag.
