How to pay Maktab Amal fees online?

All of us know that we have to pay the Maktab Amal fee online to the Ministry of Labor for the renewal of work permit as well as the Iqama. In this article, we will explain the step by step guide to do it.

  1. How much fee do you need to pay?

You need to pay the Maktab Amal fee of SR 7,200 for the year 2019 which will further increase to SR 9,600 for the year 2020 to the Ministry of Labor. However, if the Saudization percentage in your company is more than 50%, you will get an SR 1,200 discount on the fee.

The first thing you need to have to pay the Maktab Amal fee online is to get the SADAD number from the Ministry of Labor Website.   1. How to pay Maktab Amal fees online?

First of all, you need to log into your Internet Banking Account. In this post, we are using Al Rajhi Bank but the procedure is more or less the same in every internet banking account.

Click on the Payments tab given in the top banner, a drop-down list will appear from where you need to click on “SADAD”. A new page will open and you need to click on “SADAD Bills” to proceed.

On the next page, you need to select “Government Services” and “Ministry of Labor” in Utility Service Provider. In the third tab, enter the SADAD payment reference to pay Maktab-al-Amal Fee and click on “Proceed”.

A new screen will appear where you can cross-check the SADAD payment reference entered above and the amount you need to pay. Just click on the confirm button and the amount will be paid.

  1. Is the maktab amal fee refundable?

Unfortunately, the maktab amal fee paid to the Ministry of Labor is non-refundable. If by any chance you have to go on a final exit before or after renewing your Iqama, you cannot ask for a refund for this fee.
