10 years Jail for Insulting Saudi King or Crown Prince

The newly imposed anti-terrorism law contains clauses of heavy punishment for those insulting King or Crown Prince in public.

Some more punishments were approved for those individuals who participate or lead any terrorist activities and operations against the law. The anti-terror law states;

1-This law state that individual who defame King or Crown Prince in Public will be sentenced to 5 to 10 years of imprisonment.

2-The individuals who receive training from any terrorist organization on using arms, explosives, or chemical substances or through wired or wireless telecommunication devices and try to smuggle them will be imprisoned for 20 to 30 years.

3-The person who will invite and entice another person to join a terrorist organization will have to spend his 8 to 25 years in prison.

4-Terrorists establishing a terrorist cell or leading one will face 10 to 25 years’ prison.

5-Terrorist carrying arms and explosives and conducting terrorist attacks will be imprisoned for 10 to 30 years.

6-The one who will set up a training camp or manage one or get training in such camps will have to face 10 to 20 years of imprisonment. They may face 20 to 30 years of imprisonment.

7-Those who will help terrorists with weapons in any way will have to face 10 to 30 years of imprisonment.

8-Individuals who misuse their status in any way either academic or social status or media influence to promote terrorism will face maximum of 15 years’ imprisonment.

9-Individuals who forge documents of terrorist operations and get training in a martial art for the terrorist operations will face 10 to 30 years in prison.

10-Imprisonment of 15-20 years for those who smuggle, explosives, atomic substances or wired or wireless communication devices.

11-Those who conduct terror attacks that result in the death of one or more people will face the death penalty.
