Appointment of Representative: Mr. Pasha is an Indian who has been living and working in Saudi Arabia. He wanted to get married to a Pakistani girl online. The first step is to appoint a representative (Wakeel) in Pakistan to perform the marriage on your behalf. This representative can be anyone but a family member of the Girl.
Witnesses: You need to have Pakistani witnesses in Saudi Arabia having a valid National Identity Card who would witness the fact that you have agreed to the terms of the marriage. You need to take a copy of their National Identity Card and send it to Pakistan to your representative (Wakeel).
Registering Marriage in Pakistan: The representative of Mr. Pasha contacted with the relatives of the Girl and got the marriage certificate registered with the Pakistan authorities. Now the marriage has officially taken place.
Attestation of Marriage Certificate: Next step is to Attest Marriage Certificate from Saudi Embassy in Pakistan. However, the normal procedure of Attesting Marriage Certificate will not work here as MOFA Pakistan was asking him to get the Marriage Certificate attested by the Indian Consulate in Karachi. It didn’t work out.
Attestation of Marriage Certificate from Pakistan Embassy: Mr. Pasha asked his representative in Pakistan to send the original marriage certificate to him in Saudi Arabia. Here he went to Attest Documents from Pakistan Embassy. Pakistan Embassy attested the documents without any trouble.
Attestation from Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Now the next step is to Attest Documents from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The procedure is very simple and you can go through it very easily. With this, you have fulfilled all the requirements of marriage.
