Procedure to pay Dependent’s Fee using Internet Banking

The Saudi Government announced on Jan 01, 2017 that a fee of SR 100 per month will be levied on all the dependents of expatriates in Saudi Arabia at the time of Iqama renewal from July 01, 2017. Now, this fee has been implemented. The dependent’s fee will be increased to SR 200 per month from July 2018, SR 300 per month from July 2019 and SR 400 per month from July 2020. The fee has been applicable on all the dependents irrespective of their age. Every resident will have to pay the dependent’s fee even if the Iqama has been renewed. We have explained the procedure to pay the dependent’s fee for Iqama Renewal below. We have used the internet banking account of Samba Bank. Recommended: 7 Categories of Expatriates who are exempt from paying Dependent’s Fee

It is important to mention here that you need to pay the dependent’s fee starting from July 01, 2017 irrespective of the fact that your iqama has been renewed. Let’s say, if your Iqama is valid till 23-04-1439 i.e. Jan 10, 2018, you will have to pay the dependent’s fee at the time of renewal of your next Iqama for the period of 6 months and 10 days. If you have 1 dependent under your sponsorship, the fee of SR 647 will be paid for 6 months and 10 days, as you can see in the attached screenshot. You will have to pay this dependent fee for 2 months beyond the date you want to issue final exit on. Recommended: No Exit Re-Entry Visa without Dependent’s Fee

Open your Internet Banking account and try to locate “SADAD” in it. If you are using Al Rajhi Bank account, you will have to click on “SADAD” and “MOI Payments” later on. If you are using SAMBA Bank account, you will click “SADAD Bills” and “Government Services”.  Next step in Al Rajhi Bank account is to select the “Expatriate Services”. In Samba Bank, you will have to select “Alien Control” in Service Type and “Associate Fee for all Associates” in the application type. You can also select “Associate Fee for a Specific Associate” if you want to pay the dependent’s fee separately. Enter your Iqama Number if you have selected “Associate Fee for all registered Associates”. Next step is to enter the time for which you want to pay the fee. Here you will have to enter your Iqama Expiry date + 1 year. If you just want to pay the fee till for exit re-entry, leave the date column empty and it will calculate the fee till your iqama expiry. Recommended: How to Check Iqama Expiry Date Online?

If you have selected “Associate Fee for a Specific Associate”, enter your Iqama number in “Alien ID” and enter the Iqama number of your dependent in “Associate ID”.  of the dependent for whom you want to pay the fee. Next step is to enter the time for which you want to pay the fee. Here you will have to enter your Iqama Expiry date + 1 year. Your Iqama will be renewed for one full year, so you need to enter the date of your next Iqama Expiry.

In the next step, you will see an amount to be paid. In the provided screenshot, you can see that the Iqama is to be renewed till 23-04-1440 i.e. Dec 31, 2018. You can see that the dependent’s fee to be paid is SR 2,437. SR 1,200 is charged for next 12 months at the rate of SR 100 per month (July 2017 to July 2018) and SR 1,200 is charged for next 6 months at the rate of SR 200 per month (July 2018 to Dec 2018).

  • The dependent fee for the period starting from July 2017 to June 2018 is SR 100 per dependent per month
  • The dependent fee for the period starting from July 2018 to June 2019 is SR 200 per dependent per month
  • The dependent fee for the period starting from July 2019 to June 2020 is SR 300 per dependent per month
  • The dependent fee for the period starting from July 2020 is SR 400 per dependent per month

  • That’s what I was suspecting. Have you tried for exit re-entry visa?

  • amer

For Exit re-entry visa we have to pay fees, it is confirmed. Not sure if we can pay fees upto date of re-entry visa or it is has to be paid for full year. Likely its full year fee.

  • Sampler

Just pay for the months you are staying in Kingdom.
Example: If you are getting Final Exit by August, then choose the Date till August only and your Exit Visa will be issued without warnings.

  • Waquar Kaleem

Imran did you issue the final exit visa.IF yes please share your experience

  • Sampler

    Hello Steve,

Please help others clarify this confusion, it is not mandatory to pay till your Iqama expiry, you can pay it for 2 or 3 or 4 months individually.

I request you to Update your post, many other bloggers are repeating the same mistake. I am insisting because there’s no official procedure about this, it’s blogs like this people appreciate for helping millions.

  • Junaid

I tried, they stopped exit re-entry as well.

will pay? For whole next year? or from 1st July 2017 till the final exit day?

I reckon not. Fee is applicable from 1st July 2017.

  • Azaad India

  • Raza Ahmed Siddiqui

Hi I am applying for final exit now for my family, i pay till tomorrow and then apply. it gives me an error insufficient fund.

  • abdul gafoor

Sorry I tried to find out in AlRajhi Mubaseer it is not available. if so could please help to find under which section it is.

  • Abdulss

Looks like the expat / dependent / associate fees is applicable even if you are trying to go on Final Exit.

Good way to figure out how much fees is applicable is using any Banks (Alinma, SABB, SAMBA).

  • Abdulss

True as Azaad is telling, but you will never know until you reach immigration, better if you get chance post your experience.

  • Junaid

    Dears All,
I was unable to get re -entry visa for my dependents I logged on internet banking through sabb and paid dependent fees upto my iqama expiry date (no need to pay 1 year extra in advance) after that i am able to get re entry visa through abshir for my dependents.

  • Abdulss

We were able to issue Final Exit Visa after paying the dependent fees, but what is greatly observed is eventhough the bank system is taking the fees upto your Iqama Expiry, but once we issue Final Exit visa (60 months time is given to leave KSA) and the MOI system is deducting the dependent fees only for these 60 days and the remaining amount is still seen in your Query Available Funds, and I believe this amount can be refunded too.

It is ok to pay till Iqama Expiry, but good thing is once you issue final exit visa, MOI system is deducting only for 60 days (which is the period they give to leave KSA), since after issue of Final Visa your Iqama’s are no more valid, check my replies in same post.

  • Masood M

Hello. I am trying to pay dependent fees for my mother. She is under my sponsorship. When put in all the details in SABB, the page shows error 31.

Any idea how i can resolve. Where to go and check. I am in riyadh and we are traveling for vacation next week.

  • Hamza Ahmed

    Dear All
I have canceled the visa of my son 1 year back and in MOI the status is showing outside the kingdom, Now when I am trying to pay the dependent fees for my wife, the amount it is showing is including my son as well. Please if any one have any idea regarding this problem do share

  • Pram

I try to pay the fee through SABB but the message said ‘the fee is zero’. Does it mean I don’t need to pay now or is it an error?

  • I work in Govt Hospital in my case it said .. Fee amount is zero
I checked via NCB and Alrajhi.

Someone told me that it is for employees of Commercial companies only ?
    can someone plz advice ?

  • same here … where do you work ? in private sector or in Govt ?

  • Raza Ahmed Siddiqui

Did you get any idea how can we refund, i have to pay more then 2200 and have to leave on 15th of this month. For now i apply for my wife and pay 400 i am able to get final exit and can see 200 Unused. 🙁 I have to apply for my 3 other children too.

  • Raza Ahmed Siddiqui

Actually i can see unused amount which i am not sure how to refund. Do you have any idea??

  • Disqusser

Same problem here. I am waiting for Jawazat to open on Sunday and go and try my luck to get it resolved

  • Disqusser

You can ask a friend who has other bank account…..I have tried SAMBA and ALAHLI both are working.

  • S.M.Khurram Quaseem

Go to Jawazaat with all related documents so that they will update in their system after verifying.

  • Gnord

Are you sure you sent your wife and child on Final exit? The visa may not have been a final exit since most of the companies are known for issuing regular exit/re-entry instead of a final exit. Did you issue the final exit yourself? If my assumption is true, then it explains why your dependents are showing as outside kingdom. If you are 100% sure it was a final exit, then Abshar information is not updated

  • Sampler

Do not worry about it, your family already went on Final Exit, these are system errors. I hope they will solve such errors after Jawazat vacations.

  • Sampler

Raza, try to pay for this week and check if you can issue Final Visa. Until anybody confirms here the how they Final visa, we cannot know.

  • M Afzal Tabassam

Yes i am sure because i myslef issue my family final exit visa from my Abshar & online successfully final exit visa copy with me.I think in MOI abshar shows out side the kingdom in not a big issue.

  • Sampler

Yes, my relative did it and it worked. But there’s a catch, you have to use “number of days” option when issuing ER visa, not the Greg/Hijri Dates.

You can pay until the return date of ER Visa. Example: They’ll leave on September 01 and return by Oct 01 – then you have to make payments for Dependents fee till the month of October & ofcourse ER Visa fee SR200 (Minimum).

  • Sampler

Steve, kindly do update on Saudi Council of Engineers registration for Draftsman/Senior Supervisor/ Quantity Surveyor etc., Occupations. As it is now mandatory for certain professions to Register with SCE for Iqama renewal.

Just choose the Date which is a month later BrightStar.

same with me, trying since 2 days.. have to travel after a week, don’t know what to do, whom to ask… really we are not fit for this country …

  • malik

Dear , i am also facing the similar problem , i had cancelled my daughter visa in 2014 and now when i check to pay my wife fees it is calculating with my daughter . please let me know if you find any solution to this problem .

  • do u work for govt entity ?

  • my exit rentry done i tried for my family sunday night and it worked

  • Harshath Kasim

What is the next step after payment. It will automatically renew or we need to renew

  • Disqusser

And also be ready to be moved around and spend hours….go here go there, but eventually it will be resolved inshallah. Always keep your cool and don’t show anger or impatience. Smile and always say shukran or jazakallah khair whenever they tell you to go to another person etc

  • Disqusser

The amount is actually linked to you, not dependent….So you don’t need to pay 400 for each of them. If there is 200, you just need to top up another 200. And so on, so I think in the end it will be remaining 200. You can refund this through your bank account online.

  • Disqusser

Go to airport very early and pray for the best.

  • Disqusser

Alrajhi still doesnt have it….Alahli, Go to Sadad, Govt payments, Alien Control, Associate Fees for…..You can choose for head of household or by each associate (dependent id). I suggest you choose the later as if there is mistake in Absher and you choose head of household, you will pay a lot more than you should.

  • Disqusser

Not really…it’s actually 100 for 30 days, prorated. First day 4 riyals, second and third day 3 riyals each. To be precise 🙂 So it’s like

    1st July – 4 sr
    2nd July – 3 sr
    3rd July – 3 sr
    4th July – 4 sr
    5th July – 3 sr
    6th July – 3 sr
    7th July – 4 sr….and so on

  • Disqusser

The Dependent link is working since yesterday (after being down for almost 1 day). Pay the fees till expiry date and issue final exit visa. Try first to issue before making payment.

  • Disqusser

Not possible…….you have to pay until expiry date. Their logic is that whatever the visa you want to issue, the funds available must cover until Iqama expiry date. My colleague is crying because our kafeel just renewed his iqama short while before new rule and now his Iqama is valid for 1 year 2 month plus, and he needs to issue final exit visa

  • Disqusser

Hmmm….I tried this a lot of times and it didn’t work. Eventually I paid full amount until December.

  • Disqusser

Dear Gnord….No, that is not the case am sure. Many colleagues in my office sent their kids on final exit, even Absher shows “Final exit”, and the fees seem to include them. I myself had my daughter come on visit visa before she got her iqama. And after she got iqama, she appeared in Absher and now she is counted twice. Meaning I have total 4 dependents in Absher, though they should be 3. Waiting for jawazat to open on Sunday

  • Hurdle2kross

I got the same message “zero” on my bank online. I work in Govt. I already have my visa and my family visa issued before July 1 but one of my friend (also from same Govt. employer) was able to issue his dependent visa after July 1 without needing to pay for dependent fee. I think after talking to friends and reading newspaper/comments, govt employee don’t have to pay dependent fee unless children are more than 18 years or parents/second wife as dependent. For non Govt employee they have to pay on all dependents including young children and first wife.

  • Tauseef Tariq

    i have the same question

  • Imran

I paid till Iqama Expiry date and got the final exit visa… since my iqama exp is sep 2017… the charged amount is 210

  • hamid

No, you will have to renew like you renew as before.

  • hamid

Simply for final exit you will have to pay only two months of dependent fee and refund the remaining amount after logging that account or through ATM from which account you paid the fee!!!

  • Mohamed Rasmi

yes i did yesterday final exit for my wife and 3 kids and my iqama is still remaining 8 months. i paid 860 for 4 members and i did final exit.

  • Mohan Kumar

Any body tell me what is the fee should be paid for new iqama issuance for dependent? because when i go to my absher account and i check the iqama issuance. its says Sorry!! Iqama issuance fees not paid or the deposited fund for Iqama Issuance is insufficient. Please pay sufficient funds.?

  • Mohamed Rasmi

yesterday i issued final exit to my wife and 3 kids and i paid the amount of SR 860 for all of them. my iqama will expier after 8 months . but i have seen a message through whatsapp group telling that if anyone want to go final exit still they are forcing in the airport pay the one year fees now i am confusing becz my family is leaving Friday. so plz advise me, is there any problem we have to face in the airport.

  • The only source of information for this blog is people’s experience. I will post it as soon as someone share it with me.

  • If final exit visa has been issued after paying for SR 860, you don’t have to worry about anything. They will not ask you anything at the Airport Insha Allah!

  • Nallavan

As you iqama only expires after 8 months the amount you paid is till the expiry of the iqama. Only if you renew it you’ll have to pay for the full year even if you wish to leave on the 2nd or 3rd month of the 12 months you paid. So in your case your family will not have problem as you paid whole amount till your iqama is valid. Good luck to you brother

  • Nallavan

Don’t lower ur self-esteem, do not say you are not fit for this country. Say that this country is not fit for expatriates.

  • khawar

thanks for the information. Do you know that for my family dependents , i need to pay the fee for period uptill my iqama expiry or i have to add 1 year after the iqama expiry ? Currently , my iqama will expire on 17/1/2018 and I already got exit/entry slip before 1st July 2017 . I am going to vacation of 23/8/2017 & will come back on 31/8/2017. Under this scenario , fee applicable uptil 17/1/2018 or 17/1/2019 ? regards

  • Masood Ali Raja

u have to pay the fee till ur iqama validity, 17/1/2018, if u r private sector employee..

  • Masood Ali Raja

For final exit, the two-month validity period will be considered..that means u have to pay fore 2 months..

I applied for FINAL EXIT in JUNE last month for my family. My Iqama will expire after 10 months. In this case i confused , Do I need to pay any amount ?

As I already had exit visa, If i need to pay amount then how much ?

    1. Do i need to pay until iqama expiry ? + 10 months
    2. Do i need to pay for 2 months , final exit duration ?

Please help me, to find out above issue, as am leaving on Saturday

  • Mohd Aslam Lari

    true…..

  • SNK

    Dear All,

Have anyone of you experienced paying this fee for the parents?
My mother is on Iqama under my sponsorship, however, when I paid the fee, the bank only deducted the fee for my dependents. I applied Exit Re-Entry for my dependents (Wife+Kids) and got it just now.

However, for my mother, I am not able to get it as the error msg appears from MOI website to pay the fee first.

I can’t see the fee option for Sponsors with the bank.

    Please share your experiences.

  • ShahKarim

I have a question, I have made the dependency fees payment via SABB Bank for the period till expiry of my Iqama date. What is the next step after making the payment. I logged-in into Absher system and the amount paid appears as deposit under the ‘passport’ item. I am not sure what should I do next or it is already complete?

  • Khan

Final exit re-entry is normally issued for 2 months so for your four family members, they have already taken in advance 800 SAR for 2 months and 60 SAR for 4 days. Thats all you have to pay before leaving within 2 months.

  • Khan

This fees is not applicable for expatriates working in government sector

  • Khan

This fees is not applicable for expatriates working in government sector.

  • Masood Ali Raja

U have to pay for 2 months as exit visa validity is for 2 months and should reach to airport atleast before 4 hours..

  • Masood Ali Raja

There is another button ” pay for individual dependent” click on that, eneter your mother Iqama and pay the fee.

  • Masood Ali Raja

Just relax and enjoy, till iqama renew 🙂

  • Masood M

I have the same issue. When i try to pay fees for my Mother iqama, after i enter my iqama and her iqama details i get an Error- 31.

Also when you check associate fees for head of the household, it gives info only for your wife and kids.

You can try to calculate fees manually till your mothers Iqama expiry and put that money and then try to do the exit-reentry issue. I think it will work.

I have exit reentry already for my mother which was issued before July 01. I am not sure what will happen at the immigration though.

  • Sameer Zia

My dependents are already outside kingdom with 10 months exit re entry since March 2017. Without paying associate fee, i got my exit re entry yesterday. Now i have to travel myself this week. Will i be allowed to leave at airport or no?
My iqama expiry date is 1/8/1439. When I check due amount till this date, it shows me the due amount. however, i observed from a friend that once this amount is paid, it is just a deposit in passports section. and that deposit will remain as an available fund until iqama is renewed. therefore, I believe that the head of household himself can travel outside kingdom, can any body confirm?

  • Mohammed Siddiqui

In Final Exit visa date mentioned ‘Exit before : 12/08/2017′
    Am leaving on 09/07/2017

pls clear me i should pay ’01 july to 09 july’ or 01 july to 12/08/2017

  • Masood M

Unless your renewing Iqama or getting an exit reentry issued or planning to travel on a exisiting exit reentry, there is no Immidiate need ti pay.

The amount being paid is like a fund depoisted under the head of household and used when the above events happens.

Sure as fee is not for the head , but better u should reach airport atleast 4 hrs before departure, so if any problem happen u can solve with the Jawazat ppl at airport..

  • Masood Ali Raja

just pay for july, and if there is any remaining amount, it will be shown in ur account for refund after ur family exit.
But for the safe side, reach airport atleast 4 hrs before departure, so if any problem happen, u can solve with the Jawazat ppl at the airport.

  • hamid

Please check your dependents status from eserve website and check what system is showing for your dependents because I am dependent and I am outside from ksa,
My visa validity is remaining but system showing visa cancelled on eserve website please check your dependents status and inform me what system is showing your dependents status on eserve website. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/0758acc76e018fe137e8ba31e853e07b16624a7570e69343928e03d42313509c.jpg

See if any funds are remaining in your jawazat funds then refund after departure of your family.

  • MOHAMMED HUSSAIN

    Hi, Steve
How to issue final exit visa as per new law, because i tried to issue final exit for my dependent but its fail display message (ac3052e: insufficient funds) please help

  • Sampler

That’s strange, shows Visa is Expired for me when I checked my Dependents who are outside kingdom.
eServe website is either not updated or linked with new system I believe, since the Visa is valid if counted via Duration of Visa from date of travel.

  • Raza Ahmed Siddiqui

Man i had to pay 2400 for 6 months, i am trying to refund but its not possible i can see i have 1600 SAR in unused amount… do you have any idea how can i refund

  • Raza Ahmed Siddiqui

i try to refund this amount from Samba but it gives an error …. i think i should visit MOI office and see ifthey can help.

  • ashu

how did u get to the figure of 860, is it you who calculated or the bank who prompted you to this amount.

  • hamid

My visa is showing cancel and also your dependent visa is showing cancel, it mean there’s any bug in system which I hope it will fixed soon or maybe Saudi government ask us to pay dependents fee to make your visa valid on eserve website, in Pakistan at time of issuing boarding card every airline check traveler visa status from eserve website and if this will not fixed then airlines will not allow us to travel.

  • hamid

As per Saudi gazette news you will have to pay two months of dependents fee for issuing final exit.

  • Yes, I have updated my blog for it

  • Imran Ilyas

    Hi,
I am using Al rajhi online. I don’t see any relevant option in Expatriate Services for dependent Fee? Can anyone help in this?

    Thanks

  • Usman Anjum

My iqama is expiring on 18th July 2017. I have to pay dependent fee on one year in advance ?????

  • Mohd Aslam Lari

off course you have to pay 18 days + 365 days…….if you have dependent(s)…….under your iqama…..

  • Mohd Aslam Lari

if you are not going to issue exit reentry visa or not doing Iqama renewal for your dependent(s)…….then relax and wait upto Al – Rajhi Bank will update their Site and ATM………Relax!!!

  • Mohamed Ramadan

    You are right

I sending My family to india by exit Yesterday and paid

  • Shahid

  • MOHAMMED HUSSAIN

Thanks, I have one more doubt
I want to send my family on 23 August 2017, how much I have pay if i apply today 08-07-2017.

  • Sampler

Check now, they updated the Bug. It shows Valid, some relief finally.

  • hamid

  • Paul Atkinson

    ..

  • Asif Sajwani

Did you Manage to solve the problem? if so how?

  • Mehul Panchal

My question is My iqama will be expired on Jan’18 and i want to take final exit for my family on March’18 so how much amount of dependent levy should i pay to
    government.

  • Prasad Patil

Thanks, your instructions worked smoothly and I was able to issue exit-entry for my family. Keep up the good work.

  • Disqusser

It’s already resolved in the system since 3rd July, i.e now it is showing the correct fees.

  • MB

did you figure out what to do? i am having the same problem. I can also see the fees of my dependents but not my maid (under sponsors). what is the solution?

  • SM Ahmed

What if someone wants to pay the dependent fee in monthly installments until there is a need to pay the full amount (till iqama expiry date) for iqama renewal or exit-reentry visa? Will the system calculate the remaining balance if someone pays part of the full amount?

  • SNK

There is a separate option for paying specific associate / dependent fee. Click on that, put iqama number for your maid in both the fields of head of family and dependent plus the iqama expiry date of your maid.
I did that in my case and got the exit re-entry

  • S.Lateef

    Hello,
What if only the head is going on exit/re-entry, and not the dependents?
In this case, is it needed to pay the fee or not?
    Please update..

  • Sayeed Ur Rahman

    for exit-2months fees=4person x 200sar each=800sar minimum needed
additional 60sar for 5days before he has applied exit
i heard for exit logic=no of days staying x3.3sar/day +200sar

  • MB

I have tried, it shows an error message. have you tried it for a maid? thanks

  • Gnord

Is the maid showing as your dependent in the MOI site? If yes you should be able to pay the fees as mentioned by SNK with the exception that you need to put your iqama number in first field and the iqama number of your maid in the next field (Associate). Putting same iqama in both fields might be causing the error.

  • MB

yes she is. i keep getting error Ref L.33. someone told me that have not yet implemented the payment system for maids. have you tried it for a maid?

  • S.Lateef

Yes. U can pay on monthly basis. For that u have to put the till date in hijri & it will show the due amount

  • SM Ahmed

Thanks for the reply, is the amount due reflected immediately after partial amount payment? Did you tried already, please confirm.

    Regards,
    SMA

  • Sampler

Just Calculate the days you will Issue visa and pay until that date.
If you’re going to issue after 20 days, then calculate as 3.3*20 days (+1 Day would be better as after Magrib, it’ll count next day of Hijri) and pay.
A friend of mine confirmed and it went smooth.

  • hamid

I didn’t understand!!! How you calculated with your new formula???

  • Sampler

It is very clear, a month have 30 days, per day 3.3Sar or 3.4Sar(just to be sure) if divided by 100.

Issuing fInal visa after 25 days would be counted as 3.4*25 = 85SAR.

  • hamid

No, need to pay if head is going on re-entry visa but you will have to pay later at renewal time or issuing times of reentry visa of your dependents.

  • Abbas

    Hi there,

I want to apply for exit re entry visa but its showing me that there is not sufficient balance even though I have submitted the fees online. I know that this is because of the associate fees that I need to pay. Kindly advise what expiry date do I need to put on the bank website for paying this fee? Keeping in mind that the issue date of my Iqama is 22/07/1438 and I will be traveling out of the kingdom for 39 days.

Your quick response will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks

  • Muhammad Yasir Tanveer

You should pay the dependant fees till your iqama expiry because I pay the dependent fees till expiry and then get exit rentry visa 4 days before

  • Everything has been explained in the above article and related links. Go and explore them

  • Syeda Wasia

i have one question related to your above given formula. No of days will be counted from july 01 or not ? i mean if somebody wants to make final exit on 31 july, for how many days he has to pay ?

  • Masood Ali Raja

2 months as final exit valid for 2 months, so if u issue final exit on July 01, u must leave the KSA till Aug 30 , so u have to pay for July and Aug..

  • Sampler

1st July is default date in system, we can only choose 31st July.

Select Hijri date on 31st July and pay the amount that comes up. Exit Visa can now be issued without errors.

I am clearing this up to avoid paying additional amount as Newspapers reported to pay for 2 months., trying to save a fellow expat’s hard earned money.

  • Ghulam Mustafa

My family left on Exit ReEntry on 30th june Now I want to go on EXit ReEntry which already issued without payment of dependent fees after that I paid Dependent fee as per procedure but still the amount available in MOI available funds as unused funds can some advise me how the available unused funds can be used to avoid any problems at Airport

  • Calculate the Hijri date on July 31, add 60 days in it and pay the fee up to that date.

You will have to pay full amount till next renewal.

  • hamid

There’s no problem even if you don’t pay dependents fee now however you will have to pay at renewal or issuing dependents reentry visa.

    Hi Steve.
I had paid dependant fees till expiry date of my iqama (31-Dec-2017) and paid SR 300 for 90days re-entry,however the system shows insuffiecient funds. When i checked alawwal bank online the dependant amount fees shows 1year plus+current iqama expiry date.
    Pleas reply

  • When is your iqama expiring?

  • rafi

Thanks Steve for your prompt reply.

iqama expiry is 31-Dec-2017(13-04-1439) as i checked through absher and paid dependant fees till that date and re-entry fees SR 300 for 3 months.
Since i cant go for re-entry option 90 days duration ,i tried for return before date with 90 days duration, but showing insuffiecient funds.
When i checked alawwal online dependant fee calculation is iqama expiry + 1 year and below they had mentioned that for 180 days below iqama validity the dependant fees will be calculated 1year plus.Do I have to pay for 1.5years.
my family want to go after 10 days.plzreply

Hello sir steve…Hello! Good Day. I hope you will be able to help me find solutions with regards to the dilemma I am currently at. Our hospital did not pay our salary for six months and majority of the workforce left and find another job. In my case I opted to go home and go for final exit but since our hospital can not renew our iqamas due to obvious reasons of labor disputes. My iqama was expired since April 30,2017 and I was advised to go to labor office in dammam. Labor office in dammam gave us a letter to be given to Jawasat Office in Dammam. Before going to jawast we were instructed to pay thru atm certain penalties in my case 1150 SR for iqma renewal penalty and 200 sr per month for the working permit expiry so its 600 sr. Total of 1750 sr which i already paid. All is well until the time they will print visa. The jawasat told us that there as some errors in the system to whic our iqama expiry date and work permit expiry date is not matching ( not sure but that is the simplified term for the glictches they are talking about) . They let us return back to labor office as they are the ones who can fix it accdg to jawasat. Others who are experiencing such error was able to obtain visa from deporatiij center as their iqama expired before march 29,2017 ( part of amnesty maybe) but unluckily my iqama expired last april 30,2017 reason i was unable to qualify for that. I am in a hurry to go home . Please give me advises on how I can solve these issues. Thank You so much. Hoping for your favorable response.

    Hi

My family left KSA on vacation before 30th June. Now tomorrow i am going to apply exit re-entry for me (head of family). Should i pay dependent fee till expiry date of iqama before leaving KSA? or i can do it later.

In past my exit re-entry used to be issued online, but today our HR asked me to submit passport and iqama as system is saying exit entry will be issued from jawazaat.

I have not paid depended fee. Is it related to this or something else. My family is outside KSA now on exit re-entry issued prior to 30-June

    Regards
    MHR

  • It is a new update for me. Can you please share the screenshot where it is written? It will help many other expats living in Saudi Arabia. If the system is asking you to do it, you don’t have any other option.

  • I guess you don’t have any other option but to pay the fee. But the system is not updated in many other banks.

  • Sampler

Dependents will be updated after you generate Iqama from Jawazat, don’t consider online status in such cases, visit nearest Jawazat center for Dependents Iqama. Additional 750 is the amount calculated with new Sar100/month per dependent, compare with your iqama expiry to understand.

    Hi
I have been working as autocad. But in my iqama the profession is “General Surveyor”. I have done my B.Sc in Computer Science. Please tell me which is the suitable profession for my degree in the construction field.

  • rafi

want to update you that today i was able to issue re-entry visa for family after paying dependant fee till iqama validity only after lot of tries from one week.I think there was an issue with the system last week, however some of the banks(like AlAwwal) still insisting to pay dependant fees of 365 days + iqama validity for iqamas expiring with in 180 days from July 2017(no changes)

  • What is your iqama expiry date?

  • Muhamed Anvar

    Hi ,
someone please explain whats the procedure of issuing new Iqama for my wife as she came KSA one month back.is there any fee I have to pay ?

  • Muhamed Anvar

    hey
did you get iqama ? is that 500 sr payment is necessary ? please let me know!

  • Sheby Ali

    Dear,

    Thanks for your reply.

Once i try to make the payment system showing 2000 for Entry visa and 750 for iqama issue fee. and my iqama will be expired on 4th April 2018. So if we calculate the dependents fees Sar 100/month the total amount will be more than 750.

So please confirm this 750 is dependent fee or any other fees.

    Regards,
    Sheby

  • srk

hello. dear. i have the same question.
can you pls.share your experience. jazakallah.

  • Sampler

    Sheby,

I check by entering my Iqama number is Dependent Entry Fee Collection, it still shows 2000. So I can surely tell you that fee is unchanged.

As for additional 750, I guess it is better to visit Jawazat, take a print of fee shown and try to enquire.. but let me tell you as sidenote, we have no option but to pay whatever is shown online..

As for confirmation, we do not work with Jawazat, so please don’t expect confirmations here 🙂

  • Why are you paying this fee? I did not get your point. Your family came here on which visa? I do not think you need to pay any visa fee. Just explain your case and I will tell you the exact procedure. You can send me even an email on my email address.

    Hi Dear,

    Solved the issue.
I went to jawasat office directly inside Saptco bus stand Riyadh. There i found one help desk nearby the office , i submitted all my documents there and asked the guy about the payment for baby,s iqama. They verified my application and checked online for the payment and told me to pay only 2000 SR for iqama and paid it. And finally he told me there is 750 SR dependent fees need to be paid if the Jawasat authorities reject your application. Then i went to Jawasat office and the officer verified my application and issued iqama without dependent fees.

    Thanks for your support

    Hi,

Once your Medical insurance activated it will be updated in MOI, then you can apply iqama for your dependents. Medical test need to be taken at any approved hospital or clinic for spouse and the result may take upto 5 days to update in MOI.
There is no separate fees for Iqama issuance, but dependent fees need to be paid.

You can try without paying dependent fees.

Recently Jawasat issued Iqama for my baby without paying dependent fees.

    Thanks

  • srk

Hi prasad pls. share did your got exit entry for family as mentioned in blog if iqama is below 180 days at time of issue exitenty need to pay unitl expiry + new iqama renewal date of 1 year. is it true?

  • All the information has been provided on different articles in this website. I would appreciate if you spend the same time in searching for it.

  • Prasad Patil

Yes, I did get the exit entry for my family. I’m not sure I understand you question regarding 180 days. I had to pay up to my iqama renewal counting from July.

  • srk

Thnx for reply. May i know wen is ur iqama expry n which date u make exit entry. May b ur case iqama renewal is more dan 6 mont frm date of ere.

  • Malik

I had to pay dependent fee for newly born, Jawazaat did not entertain without paying fee.
i guess you have to pay dependent fee first.

  • Sheby Ali

I got my baby’s iqama without dependent fee. Issued from Riyadh jawasat

  • Ahmed JG

    Hi Khaled,
Have your problem solved? I am facing the same.
My wife is my sponsor and I am appearing in her Abshar as Sponsoree (Employee: Domestic Worker). Dependent fee is not applicable on me. But I have paid SAR 200 for 2 month exit re-entry fee. However, when my wife tries to issue my visa, system says “insufficient funds”.

  • Ahmed JG

What if an Expatriate has a Domestic Worker (Employee) under his sponsorship:
Will he has to pay dependent fee for his domestic worker (though he is not his dependent)?
How much single exit re-entry visa fee has to pay for his domestic worker)?

  • Ahmed JG

Solution: If your family member is a “Domestic Worker” – :
My spouse was appearing in my Abshar Account as my Domestic Worker (Employee). I tried to pay my dependent’s fee from various bank accounts, but system give message that “Supplied ID is not for dependent”. I assumed that as the Domestic worker is exempt from dependent fees so that might be the case. Then I simply deposited SAR 200 for single re-entry visa for my spouse and tried to issue visa but Abshar give message that “Insufficient funds available.”
Then I tried another luck and calculated dependent fee till my iqama renew/my spouse iqama renew which ever was later. My spouse iqama was expiring later, so based on this my dependent fee was SAR 1,567. Plus I added 200 SAR for visa fee and deposited SAR 1800 (1567+200 = 1767 approx 1800) for my spouse under her iqama number under the account head of single exit re-entry visa tab. Then I tried to issue visa and it was successful.

  • Hafeez

    Dear All

Yesterday i went to ar rimal passpot office for my family iqama issuance for first time ,done successfully. Alhamdulillah. np iqama fee and no dependant fee to pay first.when renewing we should pay.

    Thank you every group membrs

  • Hamoodi

    Salam Alaikum
I have a confusion in paying the dependent fees, Kindly clarify it.

Actually my iqama is valid till 24/10/1439 (July 7,2018) and my family went on exit reentry by 12 May 2017 with 11 Month visa.

I had check in MOI as the associate fees mentioned as SR 1,270.

In sha allah i will travel by 31 Aug 2017 so is it required to pay the dependent fees now in order to issue the exit reentry for mine ??

    Kindly resolve my query.

  • Sameer Hussaini

    Dear Hamoodi,
I have similar case..my family went in June on 6 month exit re entry and i went along with them. i came back in July 1st now Insha Allah i will be going during eid al azha holidays. I have already got my exit re entry done and NOTE i have not yet paid the dependent fees. My iqama expire in April 2018.

as salam alaikum ahmed bhai i am also facing same problem, my status also appearing in abshir as sponsoree , my wife works in an university under ministry of higher education, i tried for exit re entry and paid 200 riyal but when we tried to issue exit re entry it shows insufficient funds……..so kindly …let me know what to do
what solution did you find finally?

  • You have to pay dependent’s fee for your current dependents to issue iqama for newly born. You don;t have to pay deepndent’s fee for newly born to issue his/her iqama.

  • Great Help! Appreciate!
