Saudi Arabia has been criticized all over the world for being male dominant. It is said that rights of women in Saudi Arabia are not properly managed. It is said that this is only Saudi Arabia where women are not allowed to drive but they can drive in all other parts of the world. It is said that gender discrimination is at its peak in Saudi Arabia. It is also said that there are minimal chances for a Saudi woman to work in the market. All these statements are true to some extent and no one can negate them but this is not only Saudi Arabia where these restrictions are found. There are other parts of the world as well where astonishing restrictions upon women are imposed. The purpose of writing this article is to let our readers know about those astonishing restrictions upon the women in other parts of the world.[irp]

Rape Victims can be charged with Crimes –Morocco: Many, many countries fail to protect the victims of rape, but some go a step further. Women Cannot Drive – Saudi Arabia: It should be noted that there are more than 55 Muslim countries in the whole world but only in Saudi Arabia women are not allowed to drive. It shows that it has no relation with Islam. It is some internal rule of Saudi Arabia and every country has full right of making rules which suit them. In my humble opinion, the purpose of not allowing the women to drive can also be the current capacity of roads in Saudi Arabia. In the crowded cities like Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam people travel with the speed of 30 to 40Km per hour in the peak hours. If women are also given right to drive, there will be at least double traffic on the roads which means spending double time to go and come back from office.
